CESM Receives Outstanding Team in Research Award

The Center for Environmentally Sustainable Mining is honored to receive the Outstanding Team in Research Award 2026 from the University of Arizona’s College of Agriculture, Life & Environmental Sciences.

 

This recognition reflects the impact of our Industry–Academic Revegetation Research Cooperative, which brings together academia, industry, and regulatory agencies to advance science-based solutions for mine reclamation and ecosystem restoration in drylands. We are especially proud of our collaborative approach, long-term industry partnerships, and commitment to training the next generation of environmental scientists and engineers.
