Owyn Stokes

Owyn is a recent graduate from the University of Arizona, where he earned a B.S. in Organismal Biology. Owyn's current area of interest is symbiosis, specifically the plant-microbe symbioses that allow plants to survive harsh environmental conditions. In the past, he has worked on projects involving lichens and nectar-inhabiting microbes; now Owyn is researching potential links between the ability to tolerate or accumulate heavy metal(-loids) and the microbiomes of plants native to arid environments.
