Seth Irwin
Graduate Student

Seth is a PhD student in Natural Resources. He is interested in the interconnectivity of disciplines that work towards defining human-driven problems in the environment and moving towards solutions that benefit the highest good within a framework of economic and environmental sustainability. He maintains a particular focus in mine reclamation, carbon capture, & remote sensing. A focal point of his projects entails utilizing terrestrial LiDAR to quantify the aboveground biomass in dryland vegetation to complement traditional aerial capture data towards quantifying carbon stocks and sequestration.
