Sierra Lauman

Graduate Student

Sierra is a PhD student in the Gornish Lab at the University of Arizona studying plant community ecology and restoration ecology. She is interested in exploring the effects of desert broom (Baccharis sarothroides) encroachment on mine tailings and their surrounding plant communities. She is also interested in developing methods to help increase the success of revegetation efforts on hard rock mines in the Southwest.
